Anyone at that Auction in Noble county yesterday?
If you were there you know the one I am talking about.
After I left I thought to myself... wonder if any of the Hunting-Indiana guys were there.

A guy who was in some pretty serious financial trouble. So he had an auction to raise some cash from what I was told.
Sold a ton of DU prints, decoys and such, 10 guns or so and a bunch of gear. Layouts, dozens of decoys, duck decoys, dog carriers etc.

I went to an auction a couple weeks ago they had decoys and i bunch of old ladies paid a ridiculous amount for them. More than if they were new.

That was funny about this auction too.
Many of the prints were a decent value. I picked up 1.
The funny thing was the blinds and the decoys. The layouts went for $175 each I think. You can nearly get a new one for that.
Bigfoot decoys went for like $250 / dozen.
Silly people...

Yep, was in Ludington, MI a few weeks ago and they had some old decoys in the shops around town. Some were nice artistic carved gunning blocks that had shown years of use and would look good as nostagic decor in a house somewhere. While others were supermag plastic flambs selling more for one then a whole dozen new were worth. Makes a duckhunter think when you see that...
Or new bigfoots $5-10 more per decoy sold as yard ornaments...

When it's time to sell my BFs I'm having my wife make them neck bandannas for them and yard sell them. ;D
