A few more pics: Kids: Ghost deer: I thought this was a good one: Here is old one brow again: This guy is interesting. Several years ago the landowner shot a 140 class buck that was missing the same brow tine. Not broken off, just missing genetically. I wondered if I'd see that trait again. This dude is probably still seeing stars..... Watching out for the kid.........

Are all he night time pics like that or is it just because the deer are so close to the camera?

I think the first one is actually a daytime pic. Sometimes when a camera is pointed more toward the sun, it can really darken the subject. Most of the pics I got were at night. Most deer won't come out until then, as the hole is out in the open far from cover.
I had a few clearer night pics, but mostly of ears, legs, etc.
I had a bunch of backs. I think the camera was pointed to far up..... hard to predict when it's in a hole!
