it was great out this morning..... one week till bushy tails are in season.... my little girl is excited and asked if we could go scouting for squirrels like we do deer and turkey.... LOL
gonna take her out for a hike and maybe fishing this evening and get some of the fever out.

It definitely was an awesome morning. Looks like two more great ones to come as well. But you know it is not going to stay like this. At least for a little while anyway.

All in all I would have to say that this has been a great summer temp wise. Even though there have been days in the 90's I don't remember it hitting 100 yet. There should still be some really warm days yet to come though. Cooler temps in archery?

Up in Ludington Michigan for the past week and the temps are down right awsome. I don't think it broke 75 the last two days...

got 3 ladders put up and clover cut. I was a great August morning. Also saw 6 does and a nice 8pt.

Wife and I have been walking the dam area at Patoka for the last couple of weeks. Really been nice. Been seeing three different deer. A forkhorn and doe running together and a piebald doe. Also sat in one of my ladders today just to get the feel of it.
