It would make good sense from a strategy standpoint. White, no big skeletons that we know of, a skilled, Clinton-esque bulls****er.
There is still the problem of disgruntled Clinton worshippers, however. Before Democrats became enraptured by the curiosity from Illinois, there were the Clintons. They were the gods on Mt. Olympus. Now they have been wadded up and tossed aside because they are viewed as no longer useful. Their supporters are still upset. Naming someone besides the Arkansas Nutcracker VP carries risk!

I question how much difference any VP choice makes? Suppose under the right circumstances it could, it never has had any influence on me.

Hussein Obama is not going to announce his veepee loosing-mate in Elkhart.... He'd do it in Indy or Terre Haute where Bayh's roots are......
