I'm sure a few of you have been out there and hunted. My ? is does anyone recommend a guide or outfitter? Thinking of going out 1st week in Dec. For four days and doing some bird hunting. Any thought or suggestion would be helpful.
Thanks

IF..You want to hunt with a guide and pay more than you have to that's fine but do as I did.I've been hunting S.D. for a number of years now and have an excellent place to stay, four of us go there annually for the first week of season,we pay $130.00 per day ,per person for a 4 bedroom house, fully equiped with the exception of having to take our own food everything else is there plus the man has 14,000 acres that we have access to hunt on for pheasant, prarire dogs, sage grouse, plus I hunt another piece of ground locally that is awesome and when I go there I pay that man his rate and this is deducted from my rates were we stay at...it's a tremendous set up!!! So I'd say look around ,make some phone calls and save yourself a bunch of money.......
