 Found these while putting up one of my ladder stands. I have hunted this spot for years and they are always there from summer till fall. |

I've never seen any that color. Neat! I assume that they're not edible?

I've never seen any that color. Neat! I assume that they're not edible? My book says they are edible. Being edible and being palitable are two different things. I was grilling chicken so thought I would give it a try. I brushed olive oil over them and grilled them. I ate the small one and it waw pretty darned good, then I tried a bite of one of the larger ones and, lets just say it wasn't good. |
