So I know that there is hunting over at Kanakakee. What I don't know is how does it work?
Do I need a boat?
Partner(s)?
First come fist served?
Are there reserved hunts that we can get drawn for?
Not trying to stir the pot or anything here. Just looking for a different waterfowl experience than I have had before.

It will be a different experience alright. Don't need a boat, do need a partner (up to three total), have to draw, yes there are reserves for certain days. I suggest calling them and have them send you a map, directions, and regs.

On almost any day of the week,, during the MIGRATION south,,, you will see more birds at that park than you will anywhere else in INDIANA.. Its very common for there to be upwards of 25,000 + birds hanging in the area!! A site that any true fowler needs to see.... Killing birds there is a different story,, the WEAK will not survive there!! If you get there on a morning,, when 15,000 birds have showed up through the night,, OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Boats and blinds are supplied,, so they will let any YA_HOO's in!!! And let me tell you what,, you will see some YA_HOO's there.. The key is to be better than the party next to you..
3 reserve days each week,,, but they still have no-show draws each morning.. Try the flooded corn you will love it!!
Get a reserve this year,, and if you need a partner,, I'll show you how to work that park over RIGHT!!!!
