Well everyone Gunner is still on track. Thank goodness. I work with him every evening on fetching ,sitting, and now trying to get him to stay. He will stay for about 10 sec LOL. (thats me counting to 10) I took him to a deep spot in the creek. I threw a stick in the water and there he went. Under that is. just for a second though. His head popped up and before he knew it HE was swimming! It scared him a little bit but I threw a stick in shallow water right after that and he went right in. I don't think it scared him to much. He is defiantly comfortable in water. He is a house dog and now when I let him out he comes back in soakin wet. should have known HE's been in the creek.

galshunt - Get a copy of 10 min Retriever by John and Amy Dahl. You're definatly commited to training little Gunner. The Dahls have a great system for developing a young dog into what you're wanting!!!
