You need to buy that lady her own crossbow. No deer would be safe in the woods with her packing one.
We had a great time.
21 members showed up for good food, fellowship, BSing, shooting the crossbows and killing a few clays.
We missed our "official photographers" so us amateurs took some. I'll get mine up later after church.
Anyone else want to chime in with their thoughts and pictures on the is thread - post away.
Thanks to all that made it and to those that didn't - you missed a good time.

Just like last year, I had a great time and wished I could have stayed longer to do some shooting (and more shooting of the bull).

A picture slide show from the Homecoming. I got so busy shooting trap and keeping score that I forgot to take pictures of us shooting. I've included the score sheet as proof that we REALLY did do some shooting. History was made as I got to watch shootsa410 miss his first skeet bird of the year....or so he told me. For all the others that took pictures - could you PM me and I'll give you my street address so you can send me a CD of the pictures. When I get them I'll add then to this slide show. THANKS...CLICK ON THE PICTURE TO SEE THE SLIDESHOW....

He was just being easy on dbd as a gesture of gratitude. ;D Art was sandbagging? I did notice after a less than stellar round for him he was wanting to make bets.. Do you think he was trying to sucker us in? Art is so good I think he may lay down that .410 and start shooting the skeet round with his TenPoint GT Curve crossbow.. Did anyone get a picture of Russ shooting the crossbow?

Okay who was the guy holding the baby and the guy in the orange shirt that (not chico) That was whitetaildave24 that was holding his daughter. She was born on June 3rd. She made her entrance early so Dave could attend the Homecoming. The other orange shirt is Jgrimm from Warrick County. Not being professional photographers (or not too smart) we didn't get a group picture.

Must say that the wife and I enjoyed meeting up with everyone. And she was happy that someone missed more clays than she did.
Hope to see all of you and more of you there next time!!

She is a good shot. When she changed from the malfunctioning 28 gauge over and under to the Remington 870 12 gauge she busted them pretty regularly. It was good to see you again and meet your wife.

My wife and I were unable to attend this time, we were literally blindsided on our way out the door by one of our kids needing someone to watch theirs so that they could attend a wedding.

Woody! I could not get slide show to open-up after multiple refresh & reload attempts with a note saying " Failed to load or parse" ? Had a great time visiting with everyone. Best moment was when hux spilled the beans about his wife's boyfriend. ;D ;D ;D I give credit to the 5 gals for putting-up all of the typical funloving guy BS. A few beautiful roses among so many thorns... A big thanks to Woody & Art for letting us shoot their awesome Ten Point crossbows!

WRT to the vicious rumor about my shooting a string gun....lacking any photographic evidence of that event having taken place, I believe any further mention of it in print may constitute character assassination that would be actionable under the slander laws.
Homeland security may also need to be involved, as the facility is still part of a military base under temporary lease to the state. What happens in Atterbury should stay in Atterbury.
Further inquiries may be directed to the legal offices of Dewey, Scroughem, and Howe, located above the Artesian Bar here in Martinsville. 8^)
