The Central Indiana Chapter of Delta Waterfowl will have a general membership meeting this coming Wednesday (6-11) at the Gander Mtn. Meeting Room in Castleton. Meeting start time is 630pm. This is a great chance to meet some of your fellow waterfowl hunters, and get involved in our Delta Chapter. Waterfowl Biologist Rick Peercy from the IDNR will be in attendance to talk about our upcoming goose-banding dates. We also will be seeking help with our upcoming annual banquet, and we will discuss our chapter hosting the first ever youth hunt at Province Pond WCA. Lots of exciting things are happening in the CICDW, we'd love to have you join us as we help put more ducks and geese in the skies above Indiana! Just to confuse you guys:
The Central Indiana Chapter of Pheasants Forever will alos be holding their monthly meeting on June 11, 2008 at 7 PM at the other Gander Mountain store in Greenwood. So if you happen to be at Gander Mountain on Wednesday night in the Indy area stop by and check out one of these fine conservation groups. (Ours is cooler!!!).

Yea....right!! Whats cool about a pheasant!?!?  I think we need a friendly trap and skeet competition between the two groups to raise some money for the birds!! CICDW vs. CICPF....winner takes all! |

Maybe we should try for PF/Delta Shoot this summer. Or we could just shoot Travis' golf balls before they sail into the water. LOL!!!!

We toy'd with that idear before we had out Fun Shoot this past Spring..... perhaps have a group shoot at IGC where the winning group gets 60% of the proceeds and the loosers get 40%  |

Gundude..... I have to limit my "floor time" during our Delta Mtgs...so the Forestry issue didn't get any air-time. Guys cringe when I start talking, so I TRIED to keep it short this meeting.  |
