What was Goofy's original name? ;D The original name of Goofy was Dippy Dawg. He first appeared in the 1932 cartoon "Mickey's Revue." Pinto Colvig was originally the voice of Goofy. He was also the voice of Pluto and the original Bozo the Clown (1949). Pinto also provided the voice to one of the Munchkins in the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz and Sleepy and Grumpy in the 1937 Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.
