Well I have decided to wage war with the gar, breaking out the 45# Bear recurve armed with a fiberglass arrow and fish point. Have not done so well on the gar, missed two yesterday but scored today on my first ever bighead carp, what a rush. Fisrt fish I have stuck in a few year. He was about 10#s I'd guess. ;D

Its been a while since ive bowfished. maybe i should try it again since the water is low and fish are easy to see. h.h.

Go for it, I am suprised at the amount of fish I see in a very limited chunk of the Wabash i walk.

Chalk up a 8" gar tonight, missed 2 chances on carp though, didn't even get to draw on em!!!
