I just received my call from LCB.....I'm SPEECHLESS! I'll let the PM I sent him describe what I think! Darin's calls are FANTASTIC guys, you better get one! Fuzzy Here's my PM! Darin, I'm speechless! This call is FANTASTIC! I have tried all of my strikers on it ( I have 12 different I use) and I'm VERY impressed! I can't wait to bring a Tom into it! How much do you sell them for? I'm interested in one of your glass calls as well. But, MAN, this slate is SWEEEET! I have over 80 friction calls in my collection and yours is BY FAR the best I've ran a striker across yet!
FANTASTIC! THANK YOU! Frank Sears

I agree Fuzzy! The one he sent me is great. It's the only slate call I've got right now, and I fully expected to have to "dress" it like I did my crystal calls. Tried it first, and no matter what direction they were pulled, the three strikers I had at the time all produced great sound.
I can only hope the call I'm going to make for him in return sounds half as good!!

Hey Fuzzy..The glass call I have on here (last pic) sounds great..I couldn't take it anymore(i was just going to have it for looks) so I got out my slick stick and roughed it up and it has a sound I can't decribe,it's really nice.I think I better get some more glass,I only got 3 peices when I started making these.I'm betting glass over slate well sound better.

Darin sent me a couple calls and I have to say they are awesome. He sent a slate over glass that is real sweet. Very raspy sound to it. He also sent me a glass over slate and it is a screamer.
Very nice work. I like the finger groves in the ones Fuzzy got ... very nice touch.

I've got a glass and a slate both sound real nice....... didn't kill a bird today with my son but they gobbled to the call. Very nice Darin I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday,he was telling me he called in 4 birds for his grandson into about 15-20 yds with one of my beaded class calls.I guess he got turkey fever and missed the shot.
