LCB, Let me check at Johnson's Workbench where I purchase alot of my wood for calls. I THINK they had some dogwood there the last time I was there. What dimensions do you need?

Dogwood is very hard to find for several reasons even thiugh it grows abundantly in Missouri. Most of mine comes from trees I have ringed on my farm. Ring em in winter and cut about 3 years later. After it is sawed it needs to dry up to a year.
Anything sawed green is unpredictable. It is liable to warp, split, twist, curl , etc.
It's one of my favorite woods. I'm gonna make some scratch boxes out of somw after turkey season.

I would say the base of the trees is 6-8 inches wide. I am in Seymour. Wood is in Madison. The trunk of the the tree brances off pretty quick so I do know if you need a long straight truck or not?

LCB- If you are wanting Osage for strikers, I'll see what I can slab out here. I've got a chunk of it set back from the firewood pile to slab out for box calls. When I get that call made for you I'll send you a chunk of the osage, as well as what I told you I'd send in my last PM.
