I too am looking for a good taxi in or around the Indianapolis/Westfield area. I have researched 2 so far. The first had a lot of good feedback but unfortunately the proprietor passed away recently. The second said he was booked for the year already. Any suggestions. This will be my first mount, so I want someone with some expierience and possibly references.

There is one that I am using and alot of my friends have used, and he is located in Mechanicsburg right off of St Rd 39. Business is called Sugar Creek Taxidermy.

I have used Harry tollman (after the hunts end) here in indpls he has mounted 4 deer for me and I have no complaints as well he is very reasonable currently at $275 for shoulder mounts. For turkey I feel duane Tucher at antler and fin is the finest in the business but is a little pricey here is some of their work..   |

there is a guy in danville In. he is the best around he's name is Dave Duncan hes name is in the phone book. dont throw your money away on cheap mounts call him .

This is who I took my mount too... I will say his work is excelent... but at $450 and it has been over a year and I have not heard from him yet... called him once back in August and he told he was not even near getting to mine yet....
If you have the money and are willing to wait I would suggest him in the Indy area....
If not then HoosierTaxidermist would be the way to go for sure... what I have seen of his work is top notch... if you don't mind either the drive or paying for shipping...
