Would anybody be interested in a two day (7:00 - 11:45 am) waterfowl hunt in Illinois (Rend Lake area) this season? I purchased a hunt, 2 days- 2 guys or 4 days -1 guy. Your cost for the two day hunt would be $150 plus your lodging, meals, non-res 5 day hunting license $28.75, Habitat Stamp, $5.50, state waterfowl stamp $10.50 plus a required HIP#. We will be hunting mostly geese but may get some ducks also. As for the dates I would probably say some time late December-early January, they haven't released the dates yet. The property I'm told is located at the Rend Lake refuge. Depending on the birds we could be hunting fields or over water and out of pits or field blinds.
