I would like to extend an invitation for a few hunters to join me for this years put and take. It seems each year I run into fellas that don't have dogs and are having a hard time finding their birds. And I know that alot of people would love to try one of these hunts out but are hesitant because they've never pheasant hunted before or they do not have a dog. My preference is for 2 people a day, parent/child or first time pheasant hunters. I hunt on Pigeon River and Roush Lake. If this can help anyone, just shoot me a P.M. so we can go over some dates and line things up.

man i would love to do this again . but know that they went to doing it online i cant because i dont have a credit card.i think they should go back to standing in line up at roush lake. used to have a real good time up there.although i had to work for my birds i dont have any dogs but still had a good time

actionpoint - great offer and one that I hope someone will take up. I too am out there taking kids that wouldn't ordinarily get a chance to hunt behind dogs. My brittany is currently sleeping on my foot as I type. Never hunted up there but hope you make some good memories for some deserving folks.

Action....you described me to a "T"!!! I've always wanted to try some rooster hunting, but am clueless about doing it. I know IN has put and take opportunities, but without a dog I figured it would be next to impossible to kill anything. When is the season???

Wrong, I have not had a dog with me for the past 2 years and i do fine.
last year better than guys with dogs.

Travis-you can always head to Royal Flush-Shawn has some really great gys, with good dogs, guiding for him. |

I think Jack and I are gonna give it a whirl this fall..... He already knows how "good" I drive a golf ball, wait till he sees me shoot!!!! ;D
