Driving down the road with his wife....the old farmer noticed a cop...and asks his wife to hold the wheel while he puts on his seat belt.
Cop pulls him over.
Cop asks the man if he had been driving without his seat belt.....the old man says "no".
Cop turns to the wife and asks "Was your husband wearing his seat belt?"....
To which the wife replies....
"I've been married to the man for over 40 years......don't argue with him when he is drunk!"
