Have a ? for one of our fine CO's. I get a little confused about what legal shooting time for deer is. I know the book says 1/2 hr before sunrise and 1/2 hr after sunset. But when I look at the computer trying to find out what time that actually is, I see all different kinds of sunrise times like this:
November 16, 2007 Rise Set Actual Time 7:34 AM EST 5:33 PM EST Civil Twilight 7:05 AM EST 6:02 PM EST Nautical Twilight 6:33 AM EST 6:34 PM EST Astronomical Twilight 6:01 AM EST 7:06 PM EST
I got this off weather underground.com
Anyway if a guys uses Actual Time, then if today was the opener, legal time would be 7:04, is that correct?
A little direction here would be helpful and BTW I think you guys are doing a great job! ;D
Thanks Rifleman

If you have a GPS, it will tell you when sunset and sunrise actually is. I use a GPS for those times on almost a daily basis. You can also check the newspaper or TV news when they give the weather report. I would stray away that website, as it sounds a little confusing. If sunrise is at 0715 then you legal hunting time would be 0645.
