First off... Many thanks to Buster & MIG for taking their time to answer questions on this forum. I sure you do it on your personal time and that is wonderful of you guys.
On to my question..
Some buddies and I are going to Canada in October 2008 and I was wanting to clarify the possession limit rules.
I understand that the possession limit is (2) times the daily limit. For 2006 this was (6) ducks and (2) geese. There was no limit for snow geese.
We since we are going to Manitoba the limits are (8) ducks and (5) geese (in our area). Their rule is (2) days possession on ducks and (3) on geese. They have a daily limit of (20) on snows and (5) on sandhill cranes. There is a limit of (60) on the snows and (10) on the cranes.
Now for the questions.
(1) Indiana doesn't have a sandhill season. Can we bring our birds back into the state? How many?
(2) For Canada Geese. We are going after the early season that has been held in recent years. But before the regular season. How many birds can we bring back? 10? or is it only 4?
(3) Ducks. We can only bring back (12) ducks correct?
I realize that the seasons and possession limits may change between now and then. I'm just wanting to get a feel for what we can bring home.
