Already, there is some confusion about concealed carry while hunting white-tails.
I don`t believe there is any ambiguity, as, before the new measure allowing concealed carry while bow hunting during the archery season, handguns were allowed only during the general firearms season, and the handgun had to be a gun and cartridge legal for white-tail hunting. The exception being a muzzleloader handgun during the ML season.
Questions have already come up about whether personal protection, concealed handguns may be carried while bow hunting for white-tails during firearms or ML season, and some believe that they may now carry their personal protection handgun, concealed, during the general firearms and ML seasons, even if the handgun is not a legal gun or round for deer hunting.
It would be best for hunters and CO`s alike to make the requirements crystal clear right away.
