Another "would this be legal?" question

Once you start manipulating your 'corn field', the more you are straying away from what is considered a 'normal agricultural practice' and you start to walk a pretty thin line here. I don't want this to turn into a 'what if?' line of questions that stem from this question here guys.
If it were me, I would want to leave the corn standing, especially after gun season opened up and most of the other corn fields in the area have been harvested...wanna talk about a deer magnet, bedding area, etc!!
