ponderosa ranch in NW Nebraska offers a great semi guided hunting trip. They include lodging, supper every night, and a wealth of habitat and deer. The tags are over the counter and include a buck and a doe and you can shoot either mule deer or whitetail. They are loaded with coyote as well and they are open game.

I bowhunted North Dakota once where you could shoot either a whitetail or a mule deer. Pretty unique experience. We even saw a few hybreds..
We stand hunted for whitetails in the morning and evening and did spot and stalk on mulies between times.
It was fun..

the DNR rep that checked my deer in thought it was a hybrid. It was all mulie except the body size and the rack definitely resembles a typical 8pt whitetail as it did not have the double fork of a mulie.

Nice deer... All tines are out of the main beam like a whitetail...hmmm... Maybe it is just a grandpa...lol...
