Can a gunsmith adjsut the trigger on Benelli nova? The trigger is a little heavy. Will it loosen up over time? RIdgerunner

I don't think most shotguns have adjustable triggers. You might want to remove the trigger assembly from your Nova, and make sure it is clean & lublicated lightly. You can also have a gunsmith "hone" the trigger sear a bit to lighten it.

As far as honing a trigger, please leave that to a professional! Could cause a very dangerous situation if done improperly.
