i believe i read it here that someone uses a refridge to hang the deer(quarter the deer ) my question is this do you need to cut holes in the fridge and install fans or any thing for air circulation? i was just given a 22cb ft chest freezer FREE i dont have it yet but will be picking up this week i am hoping the freezer will get down to just above freezing at its lowest setting just not sure if i need to and ventilation? ??

Can't think why you'd need a fan. Just don't load it down all at once with warm meat. Leave space between unfrozen or chilled meat otherwise the interior meat might not chill/freeze properly.

Are you wanting to freeze the deer or cool it to age the meat...? If you want to cool it to age the deer, you might need a new thermostat... Try setting the stat to it's highest setting, but the stat normally needs changed... Keep the faith... Rock on fellow hunters...
