DaButcher, I do all of my own processing on deer and hogs. I even went so far as to add a shop on to my barn just for butchering. I have a grinder, cuber, and band saw. Where can I find white oil to protect all metal parts after cleanup? Or if you know of a better oil to keep cutters and faceplates from rusting that is still food safe/friendly please let me know.

as stated " any food grade oil works", i get mine thru kasco, they supply all the locale supermarkets (including marsh who i work for) if you need some i can see what it cost and let you know, most of my stuff is stainless so i don't use it much.
10point was wondering what happened to you this year, what size grinder did you get ?

10point was wondering what happened to you this year, what size grinder did you get ? It's not big but does a great job for what I need. It's a LEM #8 .35 hp that Bass Pro Sells. Bought a sausage kit and it didn't turn out very good. When are going to put everything away? My Dad mentioned bringing some meat over to get some sausage made.
