Recently i killed a pretty nice doe that weighed about 130lbs so we took it to little bucks prossesing in moorsville and went to pick it up and we they only got 30lbs out of it. So im not very impressed
Where do you take yours and do you get ur moneys worth

Did you actually weigh what you got?
I do my own so I know what I'm getting. However I realize not everyone has a place to do this. Especially if you're in the middle of town or something.

I posted this somewhere else but I got a paper once that I lost that broke down the deer and how much meat you should get. It said around 40% in meat.

If guessing, it's easy to overestimate the weight of a deer; especially after dragging it for a while. Another benefit to doing my own is that I know I'm getting it all. parson

if the doe field dressed at 130, then you should have gotten 50-55 pounds of meat if it was all ground. A lot also has to due with where and how many times it was shot too. If you blew the shoulders and hind quarters away with multiple shots then you can count on your meat ending up in the bone barrel.
