I haven't sent a deer to a locker since 95, so I'm trying to figure out what it's running this year.
A buddy of mine and his wife just had their second child, she is off work, his hours have been cut, and he has decided not to hunt this year. I am planning on have one processed professionally and taking it to them, so I was trying to get an idea on price.

I just had the backstraps cut into steaks and the rest ground up with beef fat into 2 pound packages of hamburger. $60.. .

Most shops in my area are between 60 - 80 dollars to process one. h.h.

10 for skinning and 60 for a basic cut.

I'm wondering prices also. How much do they charge for sasuages? do they charge by the pound for differnt sasuages?

All the summer sausage I had made they charged me by the pound. It was so much for the pork they added and so much a pound to make the summer sausage. h.h.

15 to skin and 65 for process, this includes beef fat if wanted and i freezer wrap and plastic wrap cuts, as for sausage i charge per pound and price is based on type (i.e. bulk sausage 1.50 lb summer sausage plain is 2.75 and chedder cheese and peppers is 3.75lb.) no extra costs involved you just pay the per lb cost times # of lbs wanted.

Moody Meats in Ladoga is $90.00 for the skinning and basic cutting. They`re professional meat cutters and do a great job.
