How many deer do you all think I can fit into a 9 cubic foot freezer? One or two maybe?

Depends on how big the deer are!

Get a 27.5 ft. like I have and you'll have plenty of room ;D.

2 average sized deer if you bone-out all of the meat and package your portions neatly.

I have 3 27.5 cubic feet chest freezers and a 15 cubic feet upright freezer. I can usually get 10 quartered up deer in one 27.5.
The only problem I see with the 9 cubic feet freezer is not being able to allow space around the meat packages for proper freezing once packaged. You do not want to stack alot of packaged deer meat at first in a freezer. Only the outside packages will freeze leaving the ones in the middle unfrozen for a while.

Jajwrigh the 9 cubic foot frezer will do, just do not over load it with unfrozen meat. If you do not have the space inside the freezer to freeze all of your meat solid. You can rotate the meat packages about every 6 hours until every package is frozen, which is usually 24 hours.

That is good advice for everyone. If your meat isn't froze spread it out in your freezer if you can or do what Cday suggests. It can and will happen.
