Is it true your firearm must be cased while transporting it on your ATV
Does the same apply to a bow?
In counties where it's legal to ride on county roads......what just pull over and unload?.......do you have to be a resident?
In Washington County it's legal to ride on county roads, can you ride on the road through state forest property?

Your modern firearm must be empty & have a trigger lock to be legally hauled on your ATV if uncased.
Your muzzleloader can be loaded, but not capped, & the above rules apply.
Your bow must not be knocked & does not have to be cased.
Your ATV must be registered with the state to ride on unrestricted county roads.
NO. The local CO will knaw on your hide prior to issuing you a ticket. Indiana State & Federal forest ground is off limits to ATV's, but horses & mules are allowed in approved areas.

If your question was riding on a county road thru state or federal forest, yes you can. Not off-road or on their private or park roads. Make sure you are registered & have your proof of insurance.

I think some counties require you to register with the county before you can ride on the road. I believe Parke is this way.
