Looking at the photo of your pup asleep sure brings back fond memories of Jake and Woody.These two Brittany's were exceptional dogs in every way,both in the field and just to have around you.Jake died back in 1997 and Woody died 7/2/05.Two Brits that anyone would have been proud to have called theirs.Now I have Duchess which just turned 12,she's out of Woody and her mother is the mother of Jake,and then there's Sage,he's now 6 and he's a direct son of Nolans Last Bullet probably the greatest Brit if not he's darn sure in the top two of all time.I doubt if I hunt Duchess much this year as she's getting older and can't go like she used to but the desire is still in her,so we'll see how she does.
I started out raising setters way back when then went to brittanys,I don't think for hunting or companionship you'll find a better dog anywhere...........
