The National Championship should start this morning at 8 am and will run for the next two weeks. Each two dogs paired at Saturday's drawing will run an approx. 20 mile course, three hour race, through w TN uplands in their quest for bobwhite quail. It's estimated the dogs will cover between 40 and 50 miles in their 3 hour hunting efforts. Bird scores could be in the double digit.
