My father and I have been looking for a place to hunt birds in the south west portion of the state, we ran accrossed an ad in the evansville paper for the New Master North Wind game preserve. We called and got a hold of one of the owners and schedualed a hunt, we needed to get a pup going and hunting. He told us he could help so we took the 20 min drive to his land adjacent to Blue grass FWA. We were introduced to a gentle man named Gary who had a strong background in dog training. He told us that 2 phesants and 5 chuckard's would be plenty of hunt for pup. Dad and I met Gary in the feild where he told us the game plan. We were going to introduce the dog to the birds and go from there... long story short it was a very good time and the dog really came on to the birds an pointed all the birds after she was handled by Gary. Ju7st to let you know Dad and I are not made of money so price was an issue. We had a great time and will probably go back, but not more than twice a month. For a guy or group of guys who want to ante up and have a good time this is a good way to go but for a guy by himself it depends on how much you want to pay. over all I'll give them a 7.5 out of 10. A good time a little pricey but served it's purpouse. Memberships are available but probably not what I'm in to. I figured you guys would like a review of a new spot. If I were you I'd give it a shot and see what you think.

They do have deer hunts but too rich for my blood. Fair chaice, probably I saw stands up and from what I saw they are prety much by the book I saw no fences just gates accross roads and posted signs. Every body in the area prety much knows that it's private land so I really don't think they have a problem with trespassers, so no need for fences.
