She's a mix, 1/2 English setter 1/2 German short hair, my wife's side of the family says she's ugly but I think its the prettiest thing in the world to see her point. I was working with her in the yard last night, trying to fine tune her point, and a turtle dove flew into a schrub near by. She locked on and looked like a pro! I just hope she does as well in the feild.

How old is she? I've got 2 Englih Pointers that are still both realy pups.My male is 3 and my little female is 1. The little females first time was sunday, I didn't expect to much from her and she did as expected. The male is the man, I started hunting over him at about 3 months old.

Has she been around gun fire? Any planted birds? If mom and dad were hunters she'll be a hunter. Mixed breed doesn't matter, you hunt the dog not the papers. Good luck.
