Hey guys, Here are a couple of pictures of my Brittany Bridgette and a limit of woodcock and one grouse. This was take a few years ago in the U.P. of Michigan on an island. There were so many woodcock i got tired of hunting them. Bridgette would point at least thirty a day and we only hunted 3-4 hours in the afternoon. She would point up 3-5 grouse but usually they were ahead of us and a far shot for a .410. I was there with her for a month and figured she pointed close to a 1000 birds. I haven't been back there in a few years but Im thinking about going this Sept. Thought some of you would like to see this picture. h.h.

How do you get brittanies to hold still for a pic? Great pics. Just tell them to stay. If i told Bridgette to stay she would until i told her to come. She would sit in the passenger seat of my van and ride like a person. I would camp in the woods for a whole month in the U.P. There was a country store about 6 miles from my campsite. In the evenings i would take her and drive to the store. Id tell her to stay and go inside and visit with the store owner, he ran a guide service for deer and bear. Id leave the windows down and Bridgette would set right there and watch out the window. Usually id be in the store 20 - 30 minutes talking. People would come and go. Some would say they pet her threw the window and what a nice dog she was and she never would try to jump out. When id come out she would be waiting on me still setting in the seat. I hunted birds right out of my camp, usually in the afternoon. Bridgette never would run off or start to hunt until i put on her beeper collar. She would come up to me and sit down and i buckle up the collar and shed start shaking. id use the magnet key to activate the collar and it would beep three tones to tell you what mode it was in. As soon as she heard the three tones she was all business. I shot pheasants, woodcock and grouse behind her. h.h.
