Eli, the upland choclate lab. This dog is a pointing machine, and he is spoiled to death Jack.

Until this year I have always hunted behind German shorthair pointers. My gsp was 11 when he passed away, one of the saddest days of my life.
My wife bought me a chocolate lab last year I have been working with him all year. He has really impressed me so far this year. I know the lab does not have the nose that a pointing dog has, but his desire to please makes up for any deficiencies. He also has the natural instinct to stay in close which I really like
