schoolmaster and i went to roush lake today as stand-bys and didn't get to hunt. there were 41 standby hunters. we didn't get drawn there so we went to salamonie and got the last stake available. the field was a 35 minute walk from the truck. we sat from 1PM to 5PM and shot 3 doves between us. we only saw 50 or so but they were flying tree top high. the doves are not at the salamonie. Even though we didn't get our limit we still had a good time. hope some of you did better than we did. h.h.
