Did any of you that applied for the state run dove hunts and were drawn receive a letter stating you could only take 50 shells to the field on your hunt? After you shoot up the 50 shells you have to quit even if you dont have your limit. My friends son was drawn for Salamonie and said he got this letter with his card. I was drawn for Roush Lake and didn't receive this letter. Just wondering if any of you got one too. H.H.

All I got was the card back! Last year at Mississinewa the DNR guy told me that a shot limit would be in the works for this season. Sounds like he wasn't kidding!! I also recieved rules and a map last year. I need to call Minnehaha and see where they are and what their deal is.

Man this is BS, down this way we don't enter the fields with nothing less than a case. Fifty shotshells would not get you no more than about 15 to 30 minutes of hunting time.
