Checked on the food plots yesterday. It looks like most of my oats and wheat have froze out. I think they go to tall before the first freeze hit. The turnips still have a little green left on them, but not much.

I havent looked at mine for a while but I imagine they look just like yours. The turnips usually last into late January or early February. Thats one of the reasons I like to plant turnips because they work up into late season. h.h.

Hello Guys,
I planted some wintergreens(brassicas, turnips) in the fall for late season. I wanted to plant another annual there in the spring. I wanted to find out do you guys spray with round up first and wait to disc it or since it is a annual that I am planting and most of the turnips are decomposing I can just disc it and plant my seeds. I have always done round up for my perrenials but was wondering what you guys do before planting annuals?

Everything but wheat and clover has to be replanted. Sometimes you will get volunteer oats or wheat that come up. h.h.
