The third from the left is an American Caecar's mushroom and it looks just like a boiled egg with the shell removed and some of the yolk exposed.

My book says it is but I will pass. The one on the far left is and I have at least 100 of them to pick.

What is a good book for mushroom identification? I have a ton of fungi around the property but the only ones I can identify are morels!

I use the National Audubon Society's Field Guide to North American Mushrooms. I still run across as many that I can't idenify as I can. It is a good excuse to be in the woods as well as deer scouting at the same time.
