Good old dad and myself pose in front of a hood full of shrooms.
We went to check out a tried and true patch Monday morning, expecting to find perhaps ten, and came away with 35 instead. It was one of those great times when you just keep pointing and saying, "There's another one!" We found over forty, but we left a few that were on the dry side behind. ( also left several fresh ones ) When you have a good mess, why not leave a few behind? More shrooms would release more spores, I would think. The bottom pic shows how those suckers can blend; remember, that is a close up!
