Keep your eyes peeled for this. A 230 inch typical was supposedly killed in Oklahoma last Sunday... I don't know anythig else about it.

I talked w/ a good friend of mine who is one of the GM's at the Broken Arrow, OK (Tulsa Area) BPS today and he and I talked about it. He heard about it, but other then that he hasn't heard anything. He himself takes a lot of deer hunters in out in western OK, like 50+ a year and he leases over 15,000 acres as he charges $4K for deer hunts (add that up it will scare you). They have them out there he has personally killed upper 190's and low 200's non-typical GREEN scored deer, so they have them but he is suspicious as we are right now!

i have hunted oklahoma quite a bit and the only part of it that i could think of one that big comeing from is northeastern corner. that is where the majority of the croplands are. i have seen some dandy deer come out of that part of the state. were i mainly hunted in north central oklahoma the big deer over 200 always seemed to be a non typical. but im just guessing it could have came from anypart of the state. they dont get big by being stupid. would like to see if it is fact or fiction though

The biggest set of matched sheds ever found came from Nebraska and they would have grossed close to 230 typical so I guess it is not impossible. If it is true, then we will likely have some people pushing to make our hunting rules like those of Oklahoma! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

You wouldn't like that....1 buck rule. Plan caters to out of state hunters, as it is a draw and is expensive. I don't know this I just making it up. Long live the OBR. LOL.
