Text for the Day -- Colossians 3:1-4

So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are
above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your
minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for
you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When
Christ who is your life is revealed, then you also will be revealed
with him in glory.
Devotional
----------
Finding new spiritual life in the Risen Christ through faith, you are
called to put on new life. The fact that Jesus is the Risen Lord
calls you to re-examine your life, your priorities and values. In
Christ you are called to the values and morals of a higher calling
than your fleshly desires or ego-centered pursuits. Not the world's
teachings and values, but Christ's, should motivate and direct your
life.
Prayer

Continue to open my eyes to the meaning of this new life in Christ
you have given me gracious God. Amen
