Text for the Day -- Isaiah 65:17-20 ---------- For I am about to create new heavens and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice for ever in what I am creating; for I am about to create Jerusalem as a joy, and its people as a delight. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and delight in my people; no more shall the sound of weeping be heard in it, or the cry of distress. No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old person who does not live out a lifetime; for one who dies at a hundred years will be considered a youth, and one who falls short of a hundred will be considered accursed.
Devotional ---------- How dynamic is your God? Throughout Scripture God is pictured as an on-going creative God. The God of the Bible is not frozen in a particular time. God is not a static picture. God is not locked in a box, not even your box. God continues to do new things. God's redemptive love creates marvelous expressions of redemptive action. Are you looking for and at the new things God is doing in and around you?
Prayer ---------------- Help me be aware of the new grace-filled thing you are doing in my life today Lord. Amen

Thanks Woody, I am a new member who doesn't care for religon, attends church regularlly, and hope people will understand that you can have a close personal relationship with our LORD, Jesus Christ and not be judgemental of our fellow man. The Bible tells us that we are not even capable of judging ourselves as good or evil so why would we judge others? I try to live my life on a Spiritual basis, as a human, sometimes I fall far short of that goal, so I ask for forgiveness and try to do better from that point on! GOD Bless All of You and All of Yours, Jack
