Text for the Day -- Ezekiel 28:25-26

Thus says the LORD GOD: When I gather the house of Israel from the
peoples among whom they are scattered, and manifest my holiness in
them in the sight of the nations, then they shall settle on their own
soil that I gave to my servant Jacob. They shall live in safety in
it, and shall build houses and plant vineyards. They shall live in
safety, when I execute judgments upon all their neighbors who have
treated them with contempt. And they shall know that I am the LORD
their God.

Devotional

God promises to re-gather the people of Israel scattered in the exile
and establish them again to the land. They will be cared for and kept
safe by God. The people will know that God is their Lord and rules
over all. In the end God wins and brings completion to his
intentions. Trust that the promises God has made will be true for you
in God's final plan.

Prayer
----------------
Gracious God, help me keep my eyes fixed on your promises of
redemptive love for my life. Amen
