Text for the Day -- Mark 8:27-30 ---------- Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way he asked his disciples, 'Who do people say that I am?' And they answered him, 'John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets.' He asked them, 'But who do you say that I am?' Peter answered him, 'You are the Messiah.' And he sternly ordered them not to tell anyone about him.
Devotional ---------- Jesus not only asks a question, but makes himself a question. Jesus is God's question to all of us. Who do you say he is? In many ways the answer lies in our experience of Jesus. For some, they will call him Savior. Some will call him Healer. Others will call him Messiah. What do you call him? Hopefully your experience of Jesus will continue to deepen and become inclusive of all that Jesus can be for you.
Prayer ----------------- You are my All in All, gracious God and Lord. Amen
