“Encourage One Another”
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Encouraging each other. Does that sound like something we struggle with or even really put much thought into? Well, on my part, it’s something that I feel I do struggle with. Especially when I’m down about things and then I find it hard to focus on the interests of others. We are told that we need to encourage one another. This is so vital to our responsibility in witnessing. I think we all have been given opportunities to encourage other people, but sometimes the mood we’re in keeps us from doing so. It’s so amazing the feeling you have inside after you’ve given someone encouragement! If you encourage someone in their time of doubt or are just desiring to encourage them to keep up with what they are doing, then that encouragement will probably come back around to you.
As Christians, we are called to encourage each other and build each other up in love and unity. By doing this, we can grow more as a family of God. It’s really good to practice encouraging other people because it can really help build their self-esteem. Let’s all be more motivated to help others and encourage them with Christian love!
