Text for the Day -- Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come into his presence with singing.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he that made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him, bless his name.
For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures for ever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

I know that are some people who are afraid to be in the presence of
God. I suppose it is because they have not experienced deeply the
gracious love of God. Christians rejoice and celebrate in worship
because they have experienced God's chosenness and mercy. Belonging
to God and experiencing God's presence is the source of the fountain
of joy in Christian worship.

Reveal your love to me, O Lord, that I may worship in joy and praise.
