Text for the Day -- Leviticus 15:31

Thus you shall keep the people of Israel separate from their
uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness by defiling
my tabernacle that is in their midst.
Devotional

Israel practiced many laws that would keep the community together and
focused on their relationship with God. In the wilderness and in
Canaan they were faced with many cultures that did not worship the
Lord. God desired that the Israelites remain faithful and holy. Some
laws referred to ritual cleansing.
Prayer

Keep me mindful of a faithful walk with you, O Lord. Amen
