Text for the Day -- Mark 16:19-20

So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up
into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out
and proclaimed the good news everywhere, while the Lord worked with
them and confirmed the message by the signs that accompanied it.
Devotional

After the Ascension, Jesus followers set out to work to fulfill the
task Jesus revealed to them. They went out to share the Gospel. The
Gospel is the Good News of God's love revealed in the ministry of
Jesus, especially his death and resurrection. If the story is not
told, the light and love of God is being withheld from those whom God
loves.
Prayer

Give me a voice to share the Good News, Lord. Amen
